59 Numbers Away From Public Television

Today was our school's annual turkey gobbling contest, and I nearly got to be our class's representative.

Summer and I were tied and we just couldn't decide, so our teacher chose a number from 0 to 100. I chose 64, Summer chose 33. The number was 5. FIVE!!!!!!! At first I thought it was no big deal, even though I've NEVER been in the gobbling contest. And then-- THEN, when we got to the assembly, our principal told us this year's gobbling contest would be on TV. Being on TV is my only huge dream that could come true. And I chose 64!!! *sobs*

Also, earlier today I was skimming through the bookshelf looking for something to read. I would pause and look at books that seemed interesting. After awhile, I had reached the edge of the bookshelf, and a book caught my eye. It was small, and tattered; worn, and all but concealed by the large book in front of it. The title was--
